“Surviving and Thriving: AIDS, Politics and Culture,” a new exhibit currently on view at the Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center at ����ֱ��, explores the rise of the disease in the early 1980’s and the response to the epidemic by ordinary citizens, politicians and the medical community.

The exhibit, organized by the , tells the history of the AIDS epidemic through a mix of text, historic photographs and images of pamphlets and publications from the era.

“Surviving and Thriving: AIDS, Politics and Culture” is on view at the Myra Mahon Patient Resource Center, located on the second floor of 1305 York Ave., from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. on weekdays until Feb. 24
